Dragon Empire

Dragon Empire is a match 3 puzzle set somewhere in Asia that challenges you to build the city of your dreams.

As your empire is attacked and destroyed by enemies, you and your followers are forced to run away from your homeland. After weeks of traveling, you find a peaceful meadow where you can settle and start rebuilding your empire from scratch. Building your own city will require you to work hard to collect resources for the construction. For that, you will be playing match 3 games that consist in creating matches of three or more tiles, which can provide you with money, goods, and supplies. To complete each match 3 level the goal is to destroy all the plaques on the grid. As you advance and with the money collected, you can start populating the area with buildings and facilities such as a forge, a watermill, or rice fields, which in turn will unlock bonuses and power ups to help you earn more resources faster. To expand your empire, other facilities will be available as the game moves on, such as temples, squares, and walls, so you will need extra money and resources to afford them.
Things start complicating a bit when a timer is added to the game, giving you just a couple of minutes to collect the needed resources. Also, chain tiles and harder plaques on the grid will require extra actions to destroy them. Still, the game is quite easy to solve and relaxed, and the addition of power ups help you a lot.
Every detail in the game has been beautifully rendered. The area where you build your empire is situated in a meadow with flowers, lots of vegetation and a river surrounding it. An occasional rain and people walking around gives the scene a touch of realism and makes it very lively. Also, the oriental tunes fit in the game perfectly.
